With a continuous-duty motor, this heavy-duty shredder offers a professional, data security device for a midsize busy office. Use to shred paper, staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs/DVDs. Shredder shreds 30 sheets of 20 lb. paper at 24' per minute into 1/4" strips (security level 2). Two solid steel, cutting cylinders are subject to practically no wear and no sharpening and are made with a laser-cut and special heat treating process for a more precise cut. Patented V-TEK cutting groove technology creates higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. WhisperShred Technology reduces decibel levels so you experience a low noise level (64 decibels) whether running idle or shredding paper. Totally enclosed gear box helps reduce noise and prevents failure from dust and debris getting into the gears. Shredder also offers a 10" throat, automatic start/stop control via electronic eye, and 20 gallon waste bin that includes a reusable collecting bag.
