High-security, micro-cut shredder features a continuous-duty motor and energy management control system that reduces energy consumption up to 90 percent. Shredder cuts 13 sheets of 20 lb. paper in a single pass into 1/16" x 9/16" micro-cuts at 13' per minute (security level 4). Two solid steel, cutting cylinders are subject to practically no wear and no sharpening and are made with a laser-cut and special heat treating process for a more precise cut. Patented V-TEK cutting groove technology creates higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. Jam-Stop Auto Reverse Technology prevents jams when trying to shred too much paper. WhisperShred Technology reduces decibel levels so you experience a low noise level (55 decibels) whether running idle or shredding paper. Totally enclosed gear box helps reduce noise and prevents failure from dust and debris getting into the gears. Shredder features a 12-1/5" throat depth and 21 gallon waste bin.
